Flights from Cornwall Airfields

We used to holiday in Cornwall. Now that we live in Devon, Cornwall is a day trip. Join me for some circuits of Cornwall airfields and landmarks.

Short MSFS videos for Cornwall airfields and airports:

Sunday, April 24th 2022 at Roche Barton. On this short flight, I use the upgraded Roche Barton Farm airfield as a base to explore some of Cornwall's mines. I'm flying the microlight, Whittaker MW6 for this trip. The weather was a bit better when I took off. Watch here. Cornwall Airfields - Roche Barton

Monday, April 18th 2022. There is a freeware update for Bodmin airfield. I took the Edgely Optica up to see it from the air. Looking northeast gives a view right across Bodmin Moor. The Optica affords a helicopter-like vista. See the video. Cornwall Airfields - Bodmin

Sunday, April 17th 2022. Having taken a look at default scenery for RNAS Culdrose and been particularly disappointed, I looked for a freeware upgrade and found the version created by Superspud. On this flight, I explore the upgraded Culdrose in a helicopter. View the video. RNAS Culdrose

Sunday, February 20th 2022. The weather outside is horrible. 50 mph wind and driven rain. So I abandoned the idea of a walk and went for a spin in a Spitfire from Perranporth. Just had to try some aerobatics. Real-world weather on. Fly with me. Perranporth Airfield
Saturday, February 26th 2022. There is a strong southerly gale blowing in the real world and in the sim. It's not very good flying weather, especially for messing about in a flying boat, but I'll not let that stop me flying from St Just (Lands End) airport in a Grumman G44A Widgeon to explore local landmarks and attempt a sea landing. Watch here. St Just Airport (Lands End)
